WOOHOO!! sometimes you stumble on a real neat find,..has a busted crystal and a badly chafed gold plated case and a missing minuit hand,..but,..with a size 16 face that happens to screw onto it ,..and a litle cleaning and oiling,..its actualy keeping REALY good time and runs very very strong!! from the serial number its an 11 jewel movement from 1893,..at this time its a bit of a frankenwatch with the mismatched front bezel but for 10 bucks its very very damncool,..just have to sneak up on a decent silveroid case to make it more presentable,..and hit a good watchshop i know to get a new min hand!,...its RUNNING rite now hhehehh!!
OOOOO just hit the case with some GHE Simichrome metal polish( cause realy how much damage can i do to it?) and it polished up VERY nice,..ok still need a new case but it looks very decent now!
