B&H (Bradley Hubbard) nickel plated kerosene table lamp. Lamp is in good condition for it's age. Has just a little rust and a couple of minor dents. I can't get the wick adjustment knob to turn. Any suggestions?

Shot of Penetrating oil around the stem & wait a day. Then try moving it back & forth & hope it frees up. If not, another shot & wait longer.

      Hi SteveTx76,
If you didn't get the wick raiser to move yet it may be because the wick is stuck to the center air tube. Try adding kerosene or lamp oil to the font and wait an hour or so so the wick can get saturated. If this doesn't work, then remove the chimney, then the gallery (the top part of the burner that holds the chimney) sometimes this is a twist and pull or just pull up. Once that is off you will be able to see the rack on the side of the wick raiser and the gear on the end of the adjustment knob stem. Oil these and then gently turn the knob back and forth until you get it loose. Let me know if you still have issues I have worked on dozens of these.
      Brad.
