As I told you AmberRose, time & hurricanes taken their toll on these old pics. This is about all I can use as the others would get me banned from CW. I protected those! Clothes were not necessarily the norm at my club. Can send those on a private email only, to protect the innocent. I think I posted my business card in a past CW poste & the same logo was on my match books, "STAY HIGH ON THE CLIFFS". This is all I have left of owning a club there! I even had to peel these pics out of the album & some didn't survive that. Part of these where during a storm, not a hurricane, when my bar got flooded. Isn't it great to have pics of tragedies in your life! OK, there is my chef Tony with a "spliff" in his mouth (even when the police were on the premises) and he would quit if I told him he couldn't do that on the job. (He actually planted ganja in my gardens & I was watering it daily unaware). I like that pic of a local band playing there where it looks like empty clothes at nite. And yeah, me in the 70's. Then there is "a Jamaican 'lid'". Somebody posted what looked like a "rachet knife a while back & that is one. Inky & I talked about those days and she said she figured everybody had "figured it out anyway". Yeah. "Counter-culture hero"? Quit when it got to serious stuff. What category do confessions go into? LOL, LMAO!!

Mani, I wasn't sure how people would take this but feel relieved to be honest. Hey, it was the right time & I was in the right place. Those were the hippie days & it was easy to move & made a lot of good friends. To be honest, I miss the action but it was some of the hardest work I ever did. THE PAY WAS GOOD! LOL! In those days, it was for innocent fun. Not like today! Exit, stage right, to St. Maarten! LOL.

      No guilt & no regrets.

No regrets Blunder it was the times and it was all about a era many missed , we were trail blazers to making a voice for young people ! Your cool and post is acceptable as it was a part of your past and looks like a lot of fun , But I would not encouage the use of the stuff on table today . I never got into it but sure knew a lot of people that did . Was and still is a reason many go to Jamacia today !

Mani, I could write several books about those days. Funny part is, I quit when I moved there & set up business without even thinking about it. Just couldn't smoke it and run a business. Either business! In the "ganja promised land" & quit! Well, I knew a lot of others hadn't! In those days, you probably couldn't get arrested if you turned yourself in at the customs counter! LOL. The whole thing was a joke. A game. I wondered if they weren't on our side? LMAO! Enough is enough.

Have one correction after I blew-up the pics. That is not a "rachet knife" as I though from memory & the thumbnail.

Just fab! How cool. I'm "blown" away. Thank you for posting these. Your history makes you what your are, and you seem to be happy person and confident in who you are. What else could you ask for? I wish I had been there but it was way before I could possibly appreciate it. Heh heh heh.

Amber, I'm probably best to say, "No comment". Treasury agents gave me a hard time, but never could make a case. Right place, right time! Statute de limitations are expired & no secret in SXM. Just smart & a bit of luck. How many people would have shown up at Woodstock etc. if not for us? Hard work, but a fun time & I miss it! The only cure is to eliminate the demand. Otherwise there will always be one's to supply. Why don't people understand that?

Thanks everybody. I worried a little bit about what kind of response it would get when I threw it in the ring. Pleased with the responses. Well, it's Sunday & I think we'll take a "brownie tour" of the "Rock" on the bike.

Long hair is good! I will grow beard and long hair starting now!! Good Idea!!
    13. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Well tora, I started clipping out the grey hairs & over the yrs, found that there was no beard left. Just have the mustache left & she isn't sure yet if she really likes it. Even got me to "Mow the south lawn". Think I'm going too far even for CW now! Amber, Mani, - please pull me out of this!! HELP!

you have.'nt post for a while,,! you set your page up in a robot loop...lol you need to go down to the beach and take a few pic's of the live stock for us.....later
    18. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 3 years ago
Shuzbut, you are interested in pix of Island "wild life" ? I'll see what I can do. CW doesn't seem to like nude beach shots, but that's all we have (optional). Truth is, most of them give you the urge to ask them to put something on. LOL !!
    19. Shuzbut Shuzbut, 3 years ago
lol your so funny next you'll tell me you have seal permits for sale,,,So quick,.. hows the Island doing with the C 19 ...I forget if your on the french or dutch side...? You got your shot..? ok enough lol later..
    20. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 3 years ago
Not seals, but polar bear season is still open and I happen to sell hunting licenses. Parliament passed a law against CV-19 and we faired well. No tourists, so the lost tourists traffic situation solved and enjoyed by all. Got 1st shot, compliments of the Dutch gov't. 2-3 weeks ago. I'll take some current pix and poste them. Hunting licenses are $10 usd.
