    (4 items)

does anyone know what might this be?
it is 5" long and 1.5" in diameter
it is quite heavy for a small piece...200gr or 6.5 oz.
it is not sterling just silver color and the crystal is just glass...I think!
the 3 black rings are made of hard rubber
and the point is very sharp!
if anyone has any info on this piece please let me know...thanks

I'm thinking bottle stopper too. The three "o" rings are for sealing, no idea why it's sharp. Maybe heavy for champagne so the carbonation didn't blow it out?

yeah I thing you might be correct...perhaps it is sharp to push through broken cork?
      thanks anyway...will keep on thinkin'...LOL!

I was at a woodworking show today, and saw people making these with wooden tops instead of the glass, but that is definitely what it is. Some were less pointy, but they all had the metal base with the 3 "o" rings at the top to seal the bottle. I have a picture of some of the ones I saw, but I can't see a way to add them to the comment here. Yours is just a fancier one!
