    Some things I just love. This is one of those things. I found this at a terrrrrible garage sale for $3.00. The guy said that it is "quality german metal." There is something about this axe that just makes me happy every time I look at it. I mean....look at that handle! I mean, if this thing could talk, imagine the stories it would tell. Seriously, I think you have to be a collector, a picker, whatever it is that we are. Normal people, they just don't get it. But finding something like this, for three dollars, probably with no value...something old and dirty, which most people wouldn't even touch let alone buy. This is what it is all about, and it made my day.

    I think it is a pickaxe
    Heavy, very very heavy
    The handle is literally a branch, about 18 inches
    Marked "MADE IN WEST GERMANY"
