any embossed numbers or glass maker's mark on the bottom.

There is an off-center circle with an upper-case, backwards 'L' (my best description :) )

Libbey Glass mark - cursive L, sometimes backwards in a single circle, introduced around 1955 - the Dr. Pepper logo shown is also an older version, later altered to show "Drink" above the "Pepper" - The 1 oz. mark is for measuring a basic shot. Basically mid-century, 1950's-1960's

Wow! You are amazing! Thank you! Do you know if this was something people purchased or was a give-away type item?

Libbey Glass has made millions of pieces of glassware including advertising glasses for give-aways, restaurant/bar wares, etc. - I assume by the 1 oz. shotglass measurement, this was directed toward a bartender's use. - Libbey made all of my Coca-Cola glasses in addition to about 90% of the glassware I have in my home bar. My items date from the 1950's to present.
