I have this magic lantern with about a dozen hand-painted glass slides in my collection of Retro Educational Technology.
Could anyone help me better understand when this was popular?
Here's the information that I have but it's based on a simple web search. Also, I had trouble categorizing it since there doesn't seem to be a category for oil-based projectors.
