    Here is a cool looking chair. Small, three slats going across the back. Hand carved mule ears on the back posts. Now I think, I think this is a milk paint but I am not sure. I know one of the chairs I have is blue milk paint because I tried to get it off and was unsuccessful.

      Only thing that will dissolve milk paint is ammonia.

      Simply elegant! i love the mule's ears.

      Many years ago, i found a barrel of red milk paint powder in a barn. i mixed some of it w/ buttermilk and painted some of the wide pine floors in my 1694 house in Portsmouth, NH with it.

      Throw in some rotten cottage cheese if you want to thicken the paint. If you throw up easy have someone else add it.
