    The design looks familiar - i know i've seen some pieces done in this style before, but i can't remember where or who made them. It's very pretty though! it's unsigned. if anyone can shed a little light on it for me, i'd appreciate it.

      thanks surfdub66! this is a particular kind, and i really like it. just wish i knew what it was called.

      i saw a few pieces in this same style today - all of them major head-turners, but i haven't found out anything about them. they have a couple different signatures, but nothing familiar. they are all definitely in this same, unnamed style though. would love to learn more...
