    I have had these for a few years but for some reason I never thought of posting them. Its a gasoline blow torch made by Otto Bernz Co. Rochester, NY. The tank is brass leaving me to believe it is pre-150. The soldering iron was added later to pair up the set. It spends its days on a shelf, and does get a lot of attention by conversation, or admirers with interest. These are just cool! =^)

      I think your date is pretty well on the mark. Not many people around anymore that used one of these. They worked fairly well for melting lead to pour a joint.
