Good call CrazyCat. My dad grew up in Green Island NY and also owned a greenhouse for his business. He also owned one of these kerosene heaters to use early spring to keep things above freezing. I believe the original intention was for these to be a parlor heater. You will find them on ebay and also Craig's List in the Albany area. All I found on ebay ended with no bids because of the inflated asking price. In good shape they bring $100 plus or minus.

I have seen many on ebay (UK) but not one as nice as this one, I have recently picked one up but mine is not just a heater it has a stove top to it. We use it in the greenhouse, shed, and have used it when doing carboot sales when it is cold. We picked ours up for £25 which was a bargain, but have seen them for sale for around £75 -£100, the dearest I have seen was £300! but were not only in excellent condition it had not been used and was still in its original box with instructions. They are great little heaters.
