    Over the years when I found some African American items -- I would buy them. Hard to come by whether ceramics, or advertising...or whatever. I have seen these referred to as: Manny, or Sambo items too as that is what they were called 'back-in-the-day'. Things are more Politically correct now days for items like this. Whole separate collecting field of an era.
