Hi, just wondering if anyone has idea on this wood box (crate) for age? I am not finding much. I love this item as it is bigger and great to store some handy blankets in it.

    Thanks

** Why is there no Category for just *WOOD* as I had/have no idea where to post this???? I think wood category is needed

I agree, there should be a wood category. Sometimes when you can't find your treasures VIA internet, it's because as soon as they are posted for sale, they get snagged up. Means it is a unique rare item in my books. Maybe someone that can read the language on the one side could help interpret. D

Hi there, the Chinese characters are the trademark. The 2 characters on the left (read vertically) are "trademark". I believe it is LEE Kum Kee which is a company famous for its oyster sauce, hence you see oyster flavoured sauce on the first photo. Here is its corporate page, perhaps you can find out more about the actual date.

Based on the C.O.O. markings I would say this is 1970 to 1990's. Obviously contacting the site directly will be more accurate information.
