Embossed: property of mobile coca-cola bottling company mobile,ala. Registered

Bottom embossed: s.w. 25a

Manufacturer's mark: Root

Notes and questions: block lettered coca-cola so it did not contain coke

1910's or, more likely, 1920s. By 193o Root seemed to have lost the green colour. Their mark was last seen in 1935, I believe, which is a couple years after they got bought out.

This is bottled in a Coca-Cola Bottling Co., but held no Coca-Cola. But just because it's block letters doesn't mean a bottle didn't hold Coca-Cola.
