    my first carved ivory crufix iv'dreamed for a long time to find.... it happend last week-)
    this crucifix is produced by BOUASSE - LEBEL , PARIS.
    love the wonderfull details, just have a look and enjoy-)

      bonjour kyra, oui il est superbe, meme le dos est travaillé et etat impeccable, trouvé au milieu d'un lot de crucifix en plastique.....

      Thanks sean , i'm so sorry for the elephants-) but hopefully they are protected today, but long time ago, ivory was very cheap and easy to get, with belgian congo.... also used in lot of art deco sculpture for that reason that ivory was cheaper than bronze... i love this times, when people, take time to do high quality work, just by hands..
