I love to find these for a dollar or two. The old rusty blades like this, I take them home sharpen and clean then put them back to use after being buried for the last 50 years. Compared to the stainless steel these get sharp and cut well. Stainless has its place, but I like to cut.

I have one out back that is marked. My father in law owned it and we ended up with it. I use it to chop the heads off fish when we get home from fishing. Also killed a possum or two with it when they get in the yard. We don't eat possum down here, too hot and they get wormy and such.
