I have an identical 1960 State Fair Medallion except that mine is for "GUEST" instead of "EMPLOYEE". Does anyone collect these? would the State Fair want it for its archives?

It is possible that the Texas State Fair would like these for their archives. It would be neat to do a display at the state fair in the Exhibitions department.

I have Ohio State Fair stuff dating back to the early 1900's. I have never found collectors on this. However anything railroad is extremely collectable.

Where have you looked for Ohio State Fair collectors?

The Texas State Fair in Dallas is a big thing. My wife was researching a pennant to put in our flea market booth, of the State Fair of Texas. They have a statue of "Big Tex" and his life story is in the web. In fact the pennant is likely identifiable to with in two years as Big Tex's clothes are changed every other year.

I would say Texas might be a bigger thing. I have watched stuff on the net they go for next to nothing. I have employee stuff, ribbons, Board pins, you name it. I don't give it up for what they are going for because it's all family stuff.

I have a token purse just like that but I keep dimes in it. Do you have any idea when those token purses were used? I can't recall where I got mine.

HZ in DFW ... I am not sure when the token keeper / tokens were used. I would guess 1950s or 1960s (before my time).
