3 bad pictures of a metal slight dome trunk that I refinished 15 years ago. 1st one that got me hooked on trunks I had bought it for 15 dollars from a neighbor. It was rusted toast but I saw what it could be. I just repainted the gold design that was faded and destroyed by father time. Little did I know of the addiction that would occur.

Beautiful! I do not think I have seen one with a painted design before -- do you think it was original or added by the owner? Beautiful restoration Drill.... fabulous. Welcome to Trunks anonymous.... my name is Trunkman...

It was originally in a gold and light brown paint by the factory, it was like a machine printed it on. all I did was re-paint what was there. I have seen two other different designs by the same manufacturer on crags list over the years. Not a high end trunk
but neat anyway. I keep it cause it's the 1st I did and the dog loves jumping on and
      off it .(cracks me up)

Addiction! Yeah, you have it. That's why I call CW CyberAsylum! The Coke addicts are the worst! They inspect every crack & crevice in a tray or whatever. LOL

Crusty old pirates seem to hang here too.B/buss
If we only had some gold to fill these treasure chests we
post, it would ease the addiction.
