    About 20" W and 7" H.
Signed at top on reverse (?)....no clue again.
On reverse side you can see where pieces of straw have been sewn into the image.
I fell in love with this strange piece of folk art. Thought it would look great hanging behind some of my brown and cream colored pottery. Depicts village with huts and people.... who to me look like they are working. My sister thinks it's ugly but I disagree. She doesn't recognize the talent in pieces like this. Any clues out there on what part of the world/origin this is suppose to depict? Age ? really don't have a clue.

Your sister sounds like my sister...we don't have the same "eye"!
These sorts of pictures are made in lots of places but that scene looks African to me.

wonder if this is "Kabamba" on the reverse? Kabamba village in Africa?
