Does anyone know the proper name for this type of necklace? I'd like to do more research on it, but can't find anything like it except Native American. The beads appear to be glass and metal and the design looks like Herons or a similar bird. It has some damage and is very discolored.
I'd like to know anything about it.

I have one very similar made with tiny glass beads(more likely British), but i also have an American Indian piece, same shape, with the Thunderbird symbol in the center. Can you discern any pattern in the beads? How big are the beads? Any idea what they are made of??
I will pull the Victorian one out, as it doesn't look att all Indian. Might take a while, but I'll get back to you. It is very similar, yet mine is more grey and amythest colored TINY beads.
