    This carving is so lovely to look at so serene. Beautiful work by the carver so gifted platted hair the hand the foot and face I have had it for 15-yrs. Although a few age related cracks its been the same since i bought it 15-yrs ago.I hope you enjoy these pictures.I believe it could be mid 19th century not to sure i purchased it from a lady here in Leicester who lived in a big house i decorated for her.But she is no longer here so the total history i am not to certain.THANKS paul.

      Your Guan Yin is extremely similar to mine. Did you have any restoration done? Do you know of good Asian wood sculpture restoration people in the Los Angeles area? Please let me hear from you as soon as possible as I love the piece very much and don't want anything to happen to it.
