We learned about this old narrow body Wayne 60 gas pump from a friend in Malad Id and even tho it was freezing cold that winter day, we decided to chase down the story. This is what we found when we finally got there! Still hooked up and running! You can see the sides leaning on the fence behind the pump and the whole thing was there except for the globe on the top. This was one of those finds that makes Goose hunters blood boil. It didn't take long for us to pull out our big pipe wrenches and cheaters and unhook it and load it into the pick up and haul it off to home about 100 mi to the South. All this after some serious negotiating an agreeable price with the farmer that owned it. This was a find of a lifetime and one we had dreamed about for months and months! Wow! A Narrow body Wayne 60 still in the wild!
I still get goosebumps just thinking about how it felt when we drove up to this old pump and saw it for the first time! What a thrill!

That amount can vary by vary large amounts, but when you finally find one of these rare pumps and it is in complete and restorable condition, you just feel lucky to find it and to be able to purchase it is the ultimate bonus! Every pump and every sign at aaaLakeside Storage has a great story to go with it as none of them came easy and all are unique. As any Goose hunter will tell you; "the fun is in the hunt". Once you get them it is then all hard work!
