A friend bought this for me at an estate auction. I thought it was the bottom of an oil lamp, but was corrected by some kind people on a Facebook glass group. The whole piece is app. 12 inches high. The globe is five inches at the widest part, and the opening is two inches. I would like some information on this piece if anyone knows the maker, year, etc. I have been marking my glass for my children to inherit some day, and know nothing to tell them on it. TIA! :)
