This is a pocketknife made by Parker Cutlery probably circa early 1970's due to the tang mark. - It is in the shape of an old flintlock pistol with an Appaloosa smooth bone pistol grip handle. The "gun" part is solid brass.
The blade is engraved in the center with "Valley Forge" and the tang mark is 'Parker Cutlery' on one side and 'Surgical Steel Japan' on the other side.
    - The knife is 4" in length closed, 6" in length opened (1 1/2" blade length)
** Parker Cutlery was established in the late 1960's by James Parker (who also owned W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery up until about 1990) - The company joined with Frost Cutlery in 1976 and tang marks were changed to Parker-Frost from 1976-1978 and then Parker with the Eagle emblem brand thereafter.
