I found this morning this nice little atomium souvenir from the 1958 world's expo in Brussels, Belgium, this miniature was sold during the event of the world's expo in 1958 at the Belgian pavillon. The atomium represent an elementary iron crystal enlarged 165 billion (thousand million) times, the concept was created by André Waterkeyn and made by the architects André and Jean Polak. Like the Eiffel tower in paris, the Atomium was not designed to stay after the expo 58 but was kept after and is now an icon of Belgium, you can still visit it and it was recently restored to it's original glory in 2006

last picture is a photography I took last year when I went to brussels, I live at around 1 hour from there

The miniature I bought is metal and has a triangular base shaped in marble with the original name tag placed on the base
