    Bought this because I loved the color. What is the color called? Name of Pattern? Also this has a minor chip at the base, does that hurt the value very much? Is it able to be fixed by a glass fixer?

      This is called Carnival Glass.The pattern is Peacock Tail Variant,Color Amethyst.Made by Millersburg Glass co.Without the chip value at todays market is around $50.00.With chip,at an auction,around $10-20.00.Chip cant be fixed.Carnival Collectors want perfect condition.Hope this helps..
