These are as stated above, Soviet Luch Wristwatches. They made them in gold or chrome cases. I like chrome my self but is a pretty thin layer and you have to be careful not to chip it off. These 2 are pretty much perfect. But I dont wear them as much as I would like as a result. The 2209 was the thinnest movement in the world at the time it was developed..has a strange gear arrangement...and won awards in design in major watch competition ? in Germany or Austria in the 1970s.

They come in an amazing variety of colors and they really are my favorite dress watches. They are also fairly large, something like 36 mm in diameter. I have them on very thin tough leather straps made of Wild Boar hide. I have to confess I have a little bit of an addiction to collecting watches. But I am putting a stop to it. Well I might buy a trench watch but thats it. After all really how many watches does one man need?
Id welcome any comments, Regards, P&P

As a collector the question "how many do I need?" should be rhetorical.

IF you have to answer say "I need as many as I want".

This is my collecting way, much to the amazement, horror, and frustration of my family.
But heck! what do they know? lol

You are right. It is a rhetorical question. And for me the answer is 'I have as many as I want' For the moment!
