We don't know too much about this old ginger jar except that its been in the family for a long time. Grandma purchased it back in the 1920's, most likely in New Orleans. It stands almost 36 inches high. We can't read the markings on the bottom. Any help would be appreciated.

I have absolutely no understanding here, so there can be no meaningful words to say about it. Just that I find it very beautiful.
