I really like this vase with it's beautiful mix of green and purple glass encased in clear.

Well made as is usual for Iwatsu, with lovely twisting ribs of clear encasing the mixed colours. The ribs start quite deep and close at the bottom of the vase and then flatten and open out as the vase widens.

The optics here are very special, and I think this vase was designed and made by a master glass worker. It's one of my Japanese vases I keep going back to - it is a beautiful calming piece to me.

Probably 1970s and probably sold under Hineri brand.
    Height 18cm (7in) width at mouth 13cm (5in)

Chocolate and glass I have in abundance, but what exactly is cash?

Cash - that thing you hand over at brocantes, to your wife, and your kids, and otherwise never have when you want it for yourself.
