I recently purchased this Antique Rocking Chair from an Elderly Ladies Estate in Dallas, Texas. She purchased it at an estate sale in Boston some 50+ years ago & brought it with her to Dallas when she moved here 35 years ago. It's an amazing chair with very old art work on the top of it. The seat was like none I personally had ever seen & I just had to buy it! :)

If anyone has any information about where this may have come from or is able to date it, I would be very appreciative! It's an absolutely fabulous chair. Please Please Help! thanks so much!

The last picture, at least to me is the most important one and it is a blur. Can you post a clear side view of how the rockers are attached and also the back behind where the arms attach?

This was manufactured by Nichols and Stone in Gardener MA about 50 yrs ago. They stopped making the scroll seat quite a few years back. I have one in like new condition that I would love to know the value of. It was purchased 49 yrs ago.
