Came across this nickol about six months ago and thought it was messed up by some one but now I think it is a misprint.

Came across this nickol about six months ago and thought it was messed up by some one but now I think it is a misprint.

Not a "mis-print" - called a "clipped planchet" - the planchets are cut from a strip and then enter the minting press. Your planchet entered already clipped. Value for this error is around $7.
