    These birds are probably quite recent, for as far as I know Marti Glass still makes similar today.

    They came as a pair with their special little plinth (so Japanese!) and are pretty appealing in the blue and green highlighted in gold.

    Each is different in pose but both are a lovely shape and colour.
    I'm not sure what bird they represent - tufted titmouse, lesser Japanese crested sporkel? Probs not.

    Height 8cm (3.2in) length 10cm (4in)

      They thankfully arrived well packed Ken, but I dropped one yesterday! Tiny tip of a beak is gone.....so sad and annoyed with myself!

      Marti make nice glass animals Dean but they are not sold outside Japan as far as I know.
