Just got the barbed wire wreath from an antique store in Crestline. The other pieces my grandmother gave me as a joke as I liked antiques. She thought they were just trash but I liked them. In the meantime at the antique store Santa Claus (we have three Santas up here) told me that the actual name is bob wire because the inventor's name was Bob. Maybe or maybe not but some people do call it bob or bobbed wire.

Barbed wire as it is barbed. I have cowgirl credentials. Barbed wire can be used to make wonderful things.

I'm with cindirella. There is an actual Barbed Wire Museum in La Crosse, Kansas. Has a bit of interesting story behind the patents:

Thank you Cinderella. I was taking Santa's Bob story with a grain of salt.
