    I just got gifted this statue, seems like either brass or Bronze. Its about 8inches in height and about 4inches width. I am unable to identify it, can someone please help.

      They used these kind of figures Bro as some kind of spiritual fertility worship in many countries. I have seen several but not in bronze or brass the old ones were of stone and wood ect ?

      We have not identified where your figure was made But I do believe it was sold as a novelty item with background of being a Fertility figure . Some legends thought if you slept with one under your pillow you would conceive . Old spiritual thinking and Africa and other countries believed in these Icons and some referred to them as a Fertility Goddess. Yours does not appear very old maybe 70- 80's ?
