I just purchased this painting at a 2nd hand store. It is oil paint and I believe the signature reads W. Mirkin. I am hoping to find out more about this artist.

      Hi KatyRed,

Mine was purchased in Tampa Florida.

We purchased both of ours from road side art sales in Pinellas county, we purchased the larger one and a few years we stopped and found the ladies. The person running the sale said that the paintings came from a local art school.

I lived in Pinellas for years. I bought this right across the bridge in Hillsborough, so it would make sense that they came from a local art school. Mine is a reproduction of a famous Oleg Zhivetin painting from what I can tell. Do you recognize a famous artwork that yours may have copied? I put a link to the painting I think mine was meant to replicate.

Actually I just looked at yours, they are knock offs of the same artist! My dad has an Oleg original of the three holding the heart in his living room.

Wow!! I checked out his work and feel like I might need to trade up to an original! Lol I love his style. Thank you so much for this information, my paintings are no longer a mystery.
