    I found this cool carafe at an estate sale. I bought it because of the beautiful enameled texaco emblem on it for my husband who is a "car guy". He thinks it's great and he's the one who started playing with it and figured out that it comes apart all over the place.
    I'm sure it originally had some sort of lid but it's still a cool piece without a lid. Hope you enjoy looking at it too!

      Wow, very cool. That looks like an older logo too, I wonder what year it's from? Sweet!

      Hi there,
      There are actually 2 dates on the carafe and 2 patent numbers. The Thermos one is march 15th 1910 and the one on the little plug is June 20th 1911. Thanks for looking! I'm always picking up odds and ends. Have a few more oil things I'll post later.
