Whalen Embossed Trunk

I picked up this embossed tin trunk today. It looks to be original paint and wood and hardware. I don't find any pat. Markings on the hardware yet. Nothing is broken or too rusty, but am curious how old this trunk might be. Interior is in pretty good condition with only a couple of minor tears in the paper. Does anyone know anything about Whalen trunks or what year this may have been manufactured? I plan to restore this trunk.
