    I dug up this little clay ball from my back yard when I was a child.. I am unsure of what it would have been used for any ideas?

      Thank you... I looked up a little on the history of marbles and they look exactly the same as the one I have...later on when the glass marbles were made they used the clay ones as targets for the glass ones.
