Hello! Yes I have been on a bit of a CW break. Just busy and well, busy.
I have not stopped hunting and here is a cool one.
I believe he is bronze, but not positive.
I believe his tusks were cut off and ivory.
I think he is older...20s?

Hello! Found at a SArmy on half price color! They were pulling it to "recycle". This SArmy is moving so it's really weird there now. Think they are initials. Has that quality feel. It's a nice piece.

The initials are L F, I found a sculptor named Louis Fontinelle (Google images Louis Fontinelle bronze elephant)
But your's seems rather beeing cold painted spelter, as on first pic you can see a grey metal under the worn finish.
It is old!

Nice. I was going to ask about the silver color on it's head. I looks more like solder, as it something was attached there, than a worn spot.
You can file a spot on the bottom to see if it's plated or not.
