WOW Marty, This is very, very cool. I love it!
Hello Oz, what was the Butler Brothers Catalog. I have have been out of the scene for awhile and never heard them mentioned. Are there reprint catalogs?
Thanks...............Mark
The Butler Brothers were American wholesale importers, with stores in the principal cities. I have studied whatever catalogs have found, and was amazed to find whole sections on Bohemian glass, That later changed to Czechoslovakia, Czech and even Tango. The West Virginia Museum of American Glass has some of them. This might be Kralik or Welz.
I can show a very similar design from a Butler Brothers 1929 catalog, identified as Bohemian. I own two of them
Beautiful oz !!
Absolutely spectacular! Those Czechs are daredevils with glass. I love it!
Ozmarty, I am just blown away by your collection. Your taste is fantastic, I just can't find the words to compliment you enough!!!! Best wishes and good finds!! Thank you, Mich
