Just one of several porcelain vases I have that are stamped "made in occupied Japan". There are so many pieces such as these that just say "made in Japan" but the ones that say "occupied Japan" can be pinned down to a date made as there were only a half dozen years or so that we were actually occupying the island nation of Japan. Because of this fact, these pieces are "highly collectible". This piece is about 8 inches tall.
