got this on ebay - seller said it was from 30's or 40's from shillitos dept store---obviously from the early 60's- I think she was in a drug store window - maybe holding a Whitman sampler!!
anyway she needed a lot of work - cleaned her clothes- fixed her "wig" which was crumbling (its painted tissue) and totally repainted her- if anybody has any idea about her origins please let me know!!!
Is she full size or miniature ? I never heard of tissue hair ? Interesting hair and nice job on the clothes .
she's 4' tall- the hair is painted paper or tissue - it had to be trimmed and repainted. the wig is removable . the work that went into this mini manni is incredible!!
