These earrings were a donation where I work. I am having a hard time identifying the date and where they might be from. They are very pretty with their small mini scenery inside each one.

They appear to be hand painted, since they are not exactly the same. What are they made of? Glass possibly? Very pretty!
Thank you for answering my question about the earrings. Yes, they are unusual! The inside is not painted it is a tiny scenery made with fabrics. Someone was very patient! The contour is metal and the front and back are glass. The hooks seemed old but by my reasearch those are still made today.
I love this very much! They are like small paintings. Could the image be made of organic material like like dryed leafs and petals? They are so very nice.
Hello Elisabeth, thank you for responding. Yes, there are some dried flowers and such in there plus some material like cotton or felt. They are really interesting.
