This is a Martin Tipple. It's been in the family since dirt was invented.

It's currently being restored by a Martin technician. Any idea of it's age.

There should be inside the label dating it . If your having a Martin tech restore it he should be able to tell by the numbers on label . Your photo's are not clear blurry .
I had a vintage Martin guitar I inherited but Martin repaired it for free as they have a lifetime guarantee . While he was ill we did forgot to loosen strings which pulled on neck causing a minor problem . But I sent in and no charge :-)

The only markings in it are T-7 ... but it has been confirmed to be a Martin. Regarding Martin's lifetime warranty, they didn't provide warranty repairs to my CEO-4. So ... I'm out $400! I've never found a new Martin guitar properly setup ... and mine had a rediculous neck set as received. According to Martin, they are property set before they leave the factory ... but even a Martin certified technician stated it was defective the way it was built. Like Martins, hate their customer service. Totally unfair!

Mine did not have defective neck it was that strings were not loose while not being used for 2 months and it made a slight pull on neck pulling it away from base . I will never leave a guitar strung tight again ! But I had no problem having them repair it free . I still had warranty papers and sale slip from 1969 or 70 I have forgot I sold it to a friend as I don't play .

I also have a Gibson Hummingbird that belonged to my deceased husband , all the family played :-)
