This item is an old wooden box that I've had for a while now. The man who owned it, his name was Clarence Traviss. Everywhere he worked he hand-carved the name into the bottom. There are 5 larger carvings on the bottom. They include: Linda Vista School, North Island, Camp Callan, WM Simpson Co. Marine Base, Fort Rosecratis. There are also two other carvings on the side. They include: Camp Pendelton, and the other one is too faded to read. On the top of the box, his name is carved.
