I have an antique wooden rocker with a leather seat. The leather seat is cracked and a replacement was purchased by the previous owner. I live in KS and I have had it maybe 10 years myself, I don't know the age. I believe it was in an antique shop in it's past.
The leather seat shows a water well and a pole with rope and bucket for getting water. Seems to be holly all around and the color is somewhat grey. I am going to let go of this rocker this week if it doesn't turn up to be worth fixing and storing for a hand down antique. It appears to be refinished but I am curious if the top back had spindles that were taken off or if that is original. Any thing you can tell me about this would be appreciated...
    Thank you.
