In the late 1960's my father purchased many items from the estate of Charles Kellogg Stone who was a descendant of Gregory Stone who was an original founder of New England. I have owned this doll since I was a little girl and have never been able to find out anything about her. There are no markings on this doll. I believe her to be late 1800's but am not quite sure. She is very beautiful and sits in the same rocking chair that she was in when my father purchased many items. Her clothes are also incredible. She has a diaper which is actually a peice of a 10 lb. sugar sack from the Jack Frost sugar refining company. I do not know if this has any revelance.I would love to know more about her.
