I was cleaning out the garage of an antiques dealer who told me to take everything I wanted. This is one of the many items I got..
This rug is huge 13' X 9' and heavy, I couldn't even carry it myself. Its red with a black design. I actually like the underside better then the top (picture 3) I know nothing about rug styles so if anyone has info such as style, year made I would appreciate it.

Nice colors. I cannot remember the name but pretty sure the style comes from Afghanistan.

It's Afghanistan Elephant print. If it has a tag it was factory made. If no tag it was hand woven and dyed. Estimated appraisals start out at $3,300.00 depending on the condition it's in. I have one similar and no tag. Had it appraised before giving to my wife for Christmas. Hers was estimated between $4000.00 - 10,000.00.

Sad update on this rug. It was sitting in my garage and the garage flooded. It was not salvageable...
