This is a neat addition to my metal rims. This beauty stands 6.25" and has an unusual applied braid going down the front. The eagle crest is stunning. Thanks for looking

It is not strictly a crest, but an emblem, in the design sense. Sorry to be pedantic. It could be an heraldic crest, if it were resting on a torque (wreath). It would be a coat of arms if within a shield or lozenge. It could be an heraldic badge, but I doubt it, it's just a great design.
This reminds me of the symbol of the German army well that what the eagle reminds me of love it
