The piece looks very interesting, how big is it? and is it a hinged box? The finish is so flat that, it practically looks like pewter. Love a mystery!
2 x 5 inches it is silver not sterling, see other listing, it's the same piece, just couldn't list all pictures, it needs a good polishing, sterling was the only option under silver, yes hinged, see other pics. thanks Lisa
